I know you can simply read the "About Me" section and get a basic idea of who I am, but in order to start this blog off in the right fashion I'm offering a better version.
My name is Caitlyn, but you can call me Caity. I'm eighteen and about to start college at the University of North Carolina at Charlotte. It's not where I want to be, and I certainly could have gotten into better schools, but money and laziness are to blame for my fate. I was inspired to make this blog because of my shortcomings in the College Prep area and I plan on writing posts on how you can avoid making the same mistakes as I have. (More on that later)
I went to an art school for two years of high school and a preparatory charter school for the other two. I've found myself completely surrounded by both raging liberals and disgruntled republicans, and through working through such overwhelming, stifling company I've found my own set of ideas and ideals nested comfortably betwixt them.
My two greatest passions are for History and Musical Theatre. Both are sources of endless stories and entertainment. I'm majoring in History, but I don't have the slightest clue of what to focus on; I cannot fathom having to limit myself in such a way.
Well, moving on darlings. I think I should clue you in to what I think I have in store for this blog.
